Quick Travel Tips
Valuables are safer in your carry-on bag. However, if you must put them in your luggage, hide them underneath items so they aren't visible during a quick examination. Liquid items may freeze and expand if your stowing your gear in a car trunk or traveling by plane in cold weather. Use plastic bottles, less than full, and seal in freezer bags for added protection. Pack your medications in their original bottles in your carry-on bag. They are less likely to be lost or subjected to extreme temperature changes.
